How to calm your dog or cat using a bandana

Using a pet bandana to calm your dog or cat? You must think we are crazy but we can assure you it's not as uncommon as you may think.

If you have an anxious dog or cat you know the struggles taking them to the vet or even out on a walk. And yes, we are talking about cats as well! You may have used calming sprays in the past such as Feliway or even Adaptil for dogs. But you may have not ever thought to use these sprays on bandanas.

When you go for a walk with your furbaby it can be almost impossible to use a spray to help you during this time. This is why having a bandana on your cat or dog means you can use it as a medium to spray the calming sprays onto. This way the contact smell is always on them during times of high stress. 

You can use it in a variety of situations not just on walks. Such as storm stress, vet trips, grooming or even travel. We love using our bandana for Lucie (our cat) when we go to the vet, the Feliway really helps keep her stress levels right down. 

For safety reasons we do not ever recommend leaving a bandana on your dog or cat when they are unsupervised.
